RRHS Students Selected for the Annual Vans Custom Culture Contest
Rio Rancho High School is the ONLY school in the state of New Mexico to once again enter the semi-final round of the Vans Custom Culture Contest. Nineteen (19) talented art students designed and HAND PAINTED four pairs of shoes (see picture to right), and your VOTE can send them to the finals in California next month.Finalists this year will be awarded at least $5000, and the Grand Prize winner will come home with another $50,000 to benefit all of our school's Fine Arts programs. Last year, we lost this round by just 61 votes out of nearly 20,000.
You can help by going to www.vans.com/customculture/vote. Select the southwest region and choose Rio Rancho High School. Enter the code and click Submit. Each IP address (internet connection) is allowed only one vote, so the school's computers around the district will not be counted again. But you can vote from home, and any internet-connected device, such as a phone.
