Schedule for the Last Day of School (May 24)
On the last day of school for Rio Rancho Public Schools, Thursday, May 24, Rio Rancho schools will operate on a half-day schedule. Classes will begin at the normal times, and except as noted bus service will be provided. Dismissal times will be as follows:
- Independence High School: 9:35 AM
- Colinas del Norte and Puesta del Sol Elementary: 9:55 AM
- Rio Rancho High and Cleveland High: makeup final exams only: 9:55 AM, NO BUS SERVICE. Students who have already completed final exams need not attend school on May 24
- Shining Stars Preschool morning classes: 11:15 AM
- Shining Stars Preschool afternoon classes: Tuesday, May 22, regular dismissal time
- Middle schools: 11:15 AM
- Rio Rancho Cyber Academy and all elementary schools except for Colinas del Norte and Puesta del Sol: 12:00 PM
Thursday, May 24 is the last of the weather make-up days scheduled due to snow last winter.
